Hey there — I’m James Whipper, born and raised in sunny Miami, Florida. I’ve been an athlete pretty much my whole life, starting when I was just four years old. At 11, I found my passion for gymnastics, which later opened the door to something even bigger — cheerleading.

From 2006 to 2012, I lived and breathed cheer. I was blessed to compete at the highest levels and bring home three World Championships. After that, I spent five years coaching, helping others chase their own goals and experience the same thrill that cheer gave me.

Along the way, I got the chance to step into the entertainment world — appearing in several videos and films, including the legendary Bring It On franchise. That experience showed me how much I love performing and connecting with people through movement and energy.

In 2013, I took things to the next level, joining the Miami Marlins Energy Team as a professional performer and acrobat. Those three years performing in front of live crowds were unforgettable — and they set the stage (literally!) for my career traveling and performing all over the world.

In 2016, I found a whole new way to perform — through whip artistry. It started as a simple curiosity, but once I heard that first crack echo through the air, I was hooked. That passion has led me to perform in spectacular productions like Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and Skyland Ranch in Sevierville, Tennessee.

These days, you’ll find me traveling up and down the East Coast, bringing high-energy whip-cracking performances to Renaissance festivals and Cowboy shows with groups like The Dead Tree Desperados and Shadow Riders. Every show is a chance to share what I love — entertaining crowds, connecting with people, and keeping the art of live performance alive.
